Novice
This
is a beginning sailing experience for young sailors of ages 6 and 7.
This class will build the student's self confidence through a low-key
basic introduction to small boat sailing. Students will sail in Mercuries along with an instructor. Fun activities, arts, and
crafts are offered when it is too windy.

Novice sailing is offered every Friday from 9 - 12 for 8 weeks. Classes for Novice will begin on Friday June 29th, and there will be a parent orientation on Monday June 18th.

Sailing is a very weather effected activity, and all of our classes run rain or shine. Here in the northeast the weather can change on short notice so students should be prepared for hot, cold, sun, rain and wind. For a list of required and recommended equipment click here.
