Adult Beginner
The beginner class is an introduction to sailing, with no experience necessary. There is an instructor in every boat at all times, and we cover the basics... tacking, gibing, sail trim, etc. Safety on the water is a large focus in this class.

Adult classes include 2 ½ hours of sailing and 1/2 hour of classroom work
each week. Staff consists of 5 seasoned instructors and 4 junior sailing
instructors for a total of 9. Sailing and teaching are on Cape Cod
Mercuries, 15' fiberglass keel boats with a main and jib.
Spinnakers are also used with advanced classes.
